This region boasts beautiful treks through valleys, gorges, canyons, across rivers, and up ridges, with a special treat of trekking to North Africa's second highest peak, Ighil M'Goun at 4068 m/13361 ft. In the summer, nomads and their flocks of sheep and goats are your regular neighbors in the remote valleys and high plateaus of the M'Goun region. If you're looking for a more relaxing vacation, the valleys of Ait Bouguemez, Tessaout, Taghia, and Ait Bou Oulli offer a chance for short walks, and immersion into the Berber culture. Ait Bouguemez Valley

Majestic M'Goun
Trek across the M'Goun Massif and head to the summits of M'Goun West 1 (4000m), M'Goun West 2 (4012m), and the real summit, Amsoud, 4,068 meters (13,346 feet). Trekking here is a completely wild and remote experience, and one of our favorite destinations in all of Morocco.
Winter M'Goun
During the Winter months, the M'Goun Massif receives regular snowfall. We explore the wild peaks over 4000m using crampons, ice axes, and snow shoes. This is a seldom trekked route during the winter. Experience with snow trekking conditions is required.
